Courtney Lyneé, a native of Philadelphia, PA, has always had a passion for telling stories ever since she was a child. Since graduating from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia (BFA-Theatre Arts) in 2007, she has found ways to utilize her voice. She has worked as a professional actor in the Philly Theatre scene (Credits including Flyin’ West, For Colored Girls…, and Citizen: An American Lyric,) and the Film scene (Credits including work bae 2 (streaming), CARMEN (STREAMING), and Dear Miss (streaming) for the past ten + years. She also is a vocalist who has worked with/shared the stage with recording artists such as Carol Riddick, meek mill, and Ashley Scott. She started working with the theatre company ‘Kaleidoscope Cultural Arts Collective’ in 2011 & was the the Director of Talent Relations & Marketing for six years and four years respectively until they parted ways in 2022.
Courtney found new ways to amplify her voice. She started working as a professional voiceover artist in 2020 earning credits from Skippy Peanut Butter and Univ. of Maryland Global Campus to Evite, The Philadelphia Inquirer, and President Barack Obama. she currently has multiple commercials running across the globe in places such as Asia and Europe. she launched "voiceovers by c.lyneé in February 2023; focusing on helping small businesses gain access to quality VoiceOver work for advertising and content purposes.
Courtney stepped behind the scenes in 2019 as a Director and has directed more than five theatre productions and two films. She had her directorial debut in 2022 for the Feature Film, Lowest Places: Lost Time (now streaming) of which she also held a lead role. she is currently in post production for her latest film, "some real sugar honey ice tea."
she also has continued to dabble in casting; casting actors for theater productions, film, and commercials for small businesses.
Courtney continues to grow and bring her light and uniqueness to every area she touches. She hopes to continue to be a positive role model and a light for her fourteen-year old daughter, Laila. they reside in Glenside, pa.
